Softwood plywood with aluminum insert

Kind of plywood with outer plies made from softwood veneers (pine, spruce). Inter plies are made from softwood or hardwood, aluminum insert is symmetric in the middle of the plies. As a option we can manufacture insert in second or third plies. Aluminum insert makes barrier for humidity (protect by disadvantageous atmosphere conditions) and liquidates inside stresses in order to have stable shape.

Plywood with aluminum can be produced in fallowing types of gluing:
  • interior, with urea-formaldehyde (UF) resin used, for using in dry conditions (according to PN-EN 636, technical class EN-636-1),
  • exterior, with white glue line, on the basis of melamine-urea-formaldehyde (MUF) resin to use in humid conditions (according to PN-EN 636, technical class EN-636-2),
  • exterior, produced with the use of phenol-formaldehyde (PF) resin to use in exterior conditions (according to PN-EN-636, technical class 636-3).
Standard sizes:
  • 2100 x 1000 mm,
  • 2100 x 1250 mm,
  • 2100 x 1530 mm.
Other sizes available on request.

Thickness range 6,5-18 mm

Appearance quality classes: E, I, II, III, IV acc. to PN-EN 635

Density: 550-650 kg/m3

Possibilities of processing: cutting to smaller sizes on panel saws, finishing of the edges straight and profiled, grooving in CNC centers.

Main areas of applications: elements for door manufacturing.
